1 cubic yard is 3’x3’x3′ or 27 cubic feet. First I had someone say 2 yards fits in their Toyota Tacoma now someone stopped saying 1 yard fits in a few small bins. When your looking for bulk materials you should not only compare product and price but you need to also compare the actual volume of product your getting for the advertised amount. Needless to say after give some accurate knowledge the guy in his Tacoma took only one of our FULL cubic yards which filled his truck. He came back a few more time and got more material for a better deal. Here at Bags and Bulk Landscape Supply Yard our 1 yard bucket is 72″ wide x 29″ tall x 40″ deep. Does your current suppliers bucket add up? Sometimes theres a little more and sometimes there is a little less but it should ALWAYS average out to be what or more than you paid for. That’s just our opinion as we’d rather a customer gets a little extra then every have them feeling like they didn’t get the value they expected.
