Red Pine Bark mixed with Hemlock Bark has a rich aroma that will make any mulched landscape, flowerbed or garden area smell amazing. When you install your aged pine mulch a general rule is three inches deep which helps hold moisture and suppresses weeds from growing. While pine bark breaks down and continues decomposing once installed it uses less nitrogen which leaves more organic fertilizer for your plants. Pine bark mulch can be used in fall to insulate plants, bulbs and seeds from harsh winters or early blooming.
